THEANNE LIU is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP and a member of the firm’s Class Action Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Ms. Liu was a litigation fellow at AARP Foundation, working on amicus briefs and litigation on behalf of low-income older adults. Ms. Liu received her B.A. from Northwestern University, cum laude in 2016, her MSW from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis in 2020, and her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2020. During law school, Ms. Liu worked as a law clerk at Outten & Golden LLP and interned with Missouri Jobs with Justice, the Metropolitan St. Louis Equal Housing & Opportunity Council, ArchCity Defenders, and the ACLU of Texas. Ms. Liu also served as a research assistant to Professor Pauline Kim conducting research on the impact of artificial intelligence and algorithms on employment discrimination and employee privacy, served as an associate articles editor of Washington University Jurisprudence Review, and was a member of the People’s Parity Project’s Worker Power Team and Washington University Law Chapter.
