Teresa Becvar

I assist Stephan Zouras, LLP clients with employment and consumer protection issues. I have experience working on a wide range of employment cases, including class and collective action wage and hour disputes and employment discrimination cases. With a strong knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act, I help clients recover unpaid wages when minimum wage and overtime laws are violated. My background includes working for the Shakman Monitor for the City of Chicago, monitoring the City’s hiring practices and making recommendations for policy and procedural reforms. I also worked at Chicago Kent’s Employment Law Clinic and served as an extern for United States Magistrate Judge Susan E. Cox. In addition, I have experience with social security disability benefit laws, as well as medical malpractice, personal injury, and nursing home litigation.
