Tristan Gunn

Tristan Gunn is a practicing attorney and partner at the law office of TAPIA-RUANO & GUNN, PC. (TRGPC). He focuses his practice in the area of removal defense before the Chicago Immigration Court and Family-Based immigration. His practice includes applications for permanent residency in the US and through consular processing abroad. His practice also includes waivers of inadmissibility, U visas, applications for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and Naturalization.Mr. Gunn has been named by Illinois Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for 2018. He has also been recognized as an “Emerging Lawyer” by the Leading Lawyer’s Network in 2017 and 2018. Mr. Gunn was also named a “Top Lawyer” by Chicago Lawyer Magazine in 2017.Tristan attended law school at Depaul University College of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2011. Tristan became a member of the Illinois Bar in 2012 and has been practicing immigration law ever since. Tristan is bilingual in English and Spanish.
